When Brom and Eragon were about to start their quest I did not think they would get along and I thought Brom would end up going against Eragon. But as the story goes on it seems like they are becoming good friends. I also think that people in the towns have let them through easily and as the book keeps progressing they might give them a harder time.
AT this point in the book I was a little bit suspicous of brom. I mean, to me it seems like he doesnt really care about Eragon the person, he just cares about Eragon the Rider. If Eragon realized this i think eragon wouldve broken away from brom willingly and earlier.
ReplyDeleteYeah I was not sure if he would be loyal to Eragon but he was the whole time until he died.
ReplyDeletebut he actually wasn't loyal to ERAGON the person. If some random person named John found the egg brom would be loyal to john. It kind of annoys me that eragon fails to notice that brom just likes him because he's special.
ReplyDeleteI think he might figure that out because he is finding out that Brom kept a lot of secrets from him.
ReplyDeleteWhich is kind of my point, Eragon believed that Brom was his best friend and eragon just assumed that brom told him basically everything. which wasnt the case at all brom told eragon the bare minimum
ReplyDeleteThey still got along fine though. He never betrayed him. Also Eragon and Murtagh never tell each other anything and they also get along fine. I think Eragon gets along with everybody that is on his side against the kingdom.
ReplyDeletehe didnt get along with sloan, and sloan didnt like the empire. Also at first Eragon didnt like brom, if you remember they argued a bunch at the beginning. It just takes time to get to know someone and become friends. some longer than others
ReplyDeleteGood point with Sloan. But again I say he never betrayed him. I have a feeling Murtagh will betray at some point. Do you agree?
ReplyDeleteHEX NO! Brom never physically betrayed Eragon, but i would feel betrayed if I were Eragon since Brom was trying to help him but they couldve made it so much farther if Brom just wouldve told him everything. I find it hard to see what brom gained by holding back all that infoo
ReplyDeleteNo they would not have made it farther! The Ra-Zoc still killed Brom. Him telling Eragon his secrets would not have made a diffrence. Maybe it will at the end of the book but for his journey with Brom it made zer0 diffrence!!!
ReplyDeleteIf Eragon knew brom used to be a rider Brom Eragon and Saphira could have used there magical strengths together and killed all the Ra-zac. And the end of the book is usually a very important part bud.
ReplyDeleteHow do you know you are not that far ahead? Oh wait you already read it. I am done commenting on this.
