First Odyssey Post

So I am about a quater way through the book and so far I have liked it even though I did not think I would. I am not a huge fan of Greek Mythology but I do like a few of the stories and it seems like Homer has wrote all my favorites in this book. I was confused the part where he is reveling his story. I don't get where he is and how he got there. Can you explain it to me? I also think Odyusses is a great hero/main charecter. He is strong, brave, and smart. What is your favorite parts of the book so far?

    I dont like it as much as i thought i would. It just seems unrealistic even for a fantasy to have all those bad things happen to him in a row.

    Yeah but that is way it is Greek Mythology it is unrealistic. Gods getting in fights and cyclopces. That is not meant to be realistic.
